    One of Pomerol’s oldest and most prestigious estates, Vieux Château Certan has been owned by the Thienpont family since 1924. Located near Château Pétrus, the estate is celebrated for producing wines of exceptional elegance, complexity, and longevity, with a unique balance of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon.

    The 2020 Vieux Château Certan is a masterpiece of balance and finesse. Combining richness with remarkable precision, it expresses the classic Pomerol signature of silky texture, aromatic complexity, and extraordinary ageing potential.

    Appearance

    Deep ruby-garnet.

    Aroma

    Black cherry, plum, violet, graphite, truffle, cedar, and floral notes.

    Palate

    Elegant and refined with layers of dark fruit, silky tannins, mineral freshness, and exceptional harmony.

    Extremely long with remarkable finesse.

    In the event you would like to return a product -

    • We offer store credit within 7 days of purchase, with the original receipt or proof of payment for unopened, undamaged products in the original packaging. Please note that we won’t be able to proceed without the original product being returned.
    • Faulty wines that have been opened must be returned within 2 days of opening, at which time we will offer you a replacement bottle of the same wine.
    • We do not offer refunds.
