Description
The Ramos Pinto company was founded in 1880 by Adriano Ramos Pinto and can look back on over 140 years of history. With an innovative and pioneering strategy, the company expanded its business activities to the Brazilian market and successfully established itself there. At the beginning of the 20th century, the Ramos Pinto brand was exported to South America, contributing to its worldwide recognition. To this day, Ramos Pinto embodies both innovation and tradition and has established itself as a leader in the port wine sector.
Tasting Notes:
A reddish and very opaque purple colour. Classic, with an elegant and prominent nose of violets, anise, mature red fruits and notes of dark chocolate and pepper. On the palate it is well-structured, very full-bodied and joins with a flavour of ripe but very intense fruit and energetic tannins that give it great ageing potential. A very flavourful finish that is extremely persistent and intense.
