Description
Le Clos du Pavillon" is a unique vineyard (or "clos"), known for its limestone soil and ideal exposure, which helps create a perfect microclimate for growing Chardonnay. These unique conditions allow us to obtain grapes of great concentration and aromatic complexity, which are then transformed using winemaking methods that carefully preserve the integrity and purity of the fruit.
Tasting Notes
Visually, the wine presents a brilliant golden-yellow hue, a prelude to the aromatic richness revealed on the nose. Here, the Pouilly-Fuissé "Le Clos du Pavillon" expresses a rich and complex bouquet, with notes of white-fleshed fruits, such as pear and peach, enriched by nuances of white flowers, honey, and a delicate minerality, reflecting the distinctive character of its terroir. The judicious use of oak during maturation adds layers of complexity, with hints of vanilla and hazelnut complementing the aromatic profile without overpowering the fruit.
