Founded in 1985, Planeta is one of Sicily’s most influential wine producers, known for combining deep respect for the island’s indigenous varieties with modern winemaking expertise. Across six estates spanning Sicily’s diverse landscapes, from Menfi and Capo Milazzo to Mount Etna, Planeta highlights the connection between grape, climate, and terroir. Terebinto is a pure expression of Grillo, one of Sicily’s most important indigenous white grapes. Grown in Planeta’s Menfi vineyards, this wine combines aromatic richness with the freshness of the Mediterranean climate.
