Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur

A classic liqueur made through infusion of elements of the Marasca cherry tree, distilled and then aged for 4 years.  Luxardo Maraschino follows the original recipe from 1821. First, Marasca cherries are harvested from Luxardo’s own trees and nothing goes to waste. The cherry pits, branches and other solid components are infuced in alcohol. Once ready, the product is distilled in small copper pot stills, and then rested in Finnish ash vats. Finally a combination of sugar and water is added before bottling into the now iconic straw wrapped bottles.
