    Classified as a Fifth Growth in the 1855 Classification, Château Haut-Batailley is a benchmark Pauillac estate recognised for producing elegant Cabernet Sauvignon-led wines with remarkable finesse and ageing potential. Under the Cazes family's ownership, the wines have gained additional precision while maintaining their classic Left Bank identity.

    Verso is the second wine of Château Haut-Batailley, offering an approachable expression of Pauillac while preserving the estate's signature elegance. The 2018 vintage delivers generous dark fruit, polished tannins, and classic Left Bank structure, making it enjoyable in its youth with the ability to develop further complexity over time.

    Appearance

    Deep ruby red.

    Aroma

    Blackcurrant, blackberry, cedar, graphite, violets, and sweet spice.

    Palate

    Concentrated cassis and plum layered with fine tannins, subtle oak, and fresh acidity.

    Finish

    Long and refined with lingering notes of cedar and dark fruit.

    • We offer store credit within 7 days of purchase, with the original receipt or proof of payment for unopened, undamaged products in the original packaging. Please note that we won’t be able to proceed without the original product being returned.
    • Faulty wines that have been opened must be returned within 2 days of opening, at which time we will offer you a replacement bottle of the same wine.
