Description
The Domaine’s history dates back to 1860 with the planting of Clos La Marche, one of the most celebrated vineyards in the area. Previously known as Maison Louis Max, the winery now bears the name of the current generation Mia Subotic, who took the helm in 2020 with a goal of remaking this historic estate. With the crucial contributions of Alain Charleux who cares for the vineyards, and consulting winemaker, David Duband, Mia is writing a new chapter in the domaine and delivers amazing quality for a price that's become rare in Burgundy.
Tasting Notes
Clos La Marche is characterized by a great minerality, elegance and lightness. With a garnet color and purple reflections, its nose exhales aromas of red fruits. The first impression in the mouth is worthy of a first growth, the finish is long and fresh. That of a balanced wine, with silky tannins.
Food Pairing
A delectable Mercurey pairing perfectly with delicate red meat.
