Carrés Bourgogne Blanc unfolds beautifully on the nose with intense aromas of pear, white flowers, hazelnut, citrus, white peach, butter, and wet stones. A beautiful full wine, buttery and a bit oily, with a beautiful aftertaste. Typical Meursault!
The palate follows beautifully, with layered, creamy fruit balanced by a juicy acid profile, making the wine appear beautifully balanced. The wine has a certain body and density, with a juicy taste and a subtle hint of wood. A rich and fresh white Burgundy that simply delivers.
When it comes to gastronomy, this wine goes perfectly with a range of dishes such as foie gras, lobster, trout à la meunière, chicken in cream sauce with morels, monkfish skewer.
