A 6-year-old blended malt Scotch whisky from the Campbeltown region, independently bottled by Darkness. As with the rest of the Darkness range, this expression has enjoyed a finishing period in specially-coopered sherry octave casks (specifically Oloroso sherry this time), resulting in oodles of sherried brilliance.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Cinnamon rolls, new leather, dates, a few hints of forest floor.

Palate: Coffee bean, flaky pastry, melted butter, Nutella, and dried apricot.

Finish: A smidge of citrus, plus more chocolatey notes lingering.
