Description

Maruxa Mencía is crafted from hand-harvested grapes grown on small plots in Éntoma, ranging from 350 to 800 meters in elevation. The diverse slate and clay soils and altitude variations give this wine its distinctive freshness and minerality. Cold maceration and fermentation in stainless steel tanks—without barrel aging—preserve its vibrant, primary character and highlight the variety’s blue-fruited profile.

Tasting Notes
Clean, bright cherry red in color. The nose is expressive and intense, with aromas of fresh red berries, earthy undertones, and a pronounced mineral edge. On the palate, it is broad yet fresh, with lively acidity, a silky texture, and a long, enveloping finish.

A versatile wine that pairs beautifully with all kinds of meats, stews, cheeses, and grilled vegetables.

    • Faulty wines that have been opened must be returned within 2 days of opening, at which time we will offer you a replacement bottle of the same wine.
