Description
A brilliant Balcones bottling, independently released by That Boutique-y Whisky Company. This unique spirit has been made with corn, and it`s the spirit itself, which was smoked, rather than the grain. It spent 2 years in a Pedro Ximénez sherry cask before being bottled at 50% ABV for the Wine Cask Series.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Quite chocolatey, with a helping of blackcurrant sweetness and charred oak smokiness underneath.

Palate: Sweet coffee, more blackcurrant (now joined by prune and fig), red chilli flake, cigar box.

Finish: Chocolatey sweetness returns, with dry smoke lasting.
