The most famous of the Beaujolais Villages, this Gamay from Fleurie delivers all the freshness of Beaujolais but with depth more typical of Pinot Noirs in Burgundy.

Tasting Notes

A vibrant and fruity red with notes of raspberry, cherry, and a hint of violet. Light-bodied with soft tannins and a fresh, lively finish. Bright medium-ruby in appearance. Classic aromas of maraschino cherry, forest floor, mushroom, toasted cedar, white raspberry, and vanilla. Focused, dense and integrated on the palate, but with a juicy acidity that offsets fine, light tannins and pleasant flavors of cherry compote, toasted espresso bean, and chocolate-covered goji berries.

Food Pairing

Perfect with seared duck, creamy mushroom pasta, or baked fish.
