Alvaro Palacios Les Terrasses 2021 is a full-bodied red wine from the Priorat region of Catalonia. Álvaro Palacios has come to be recognised as one of Spain’s greatest contemporary winemakers. With a focus on local varieties from exceptionally old, low-yielding vines, he is consistently crafting some of the country’s finest wines. The Les Terrasses cuvée is a blend of old-vine fruit from nine different villages within the Priorat appellation. The 2021 consists of 57% Garnacha Tinta and 42% Cariñena, with 1% made up of various white grape varieties. Characterised by plush red and black fruits with mineral and balsamic nuances, this is a concentrated and classically proportioned Priorat whose fine structure is balanced by refreshing acidity.
  • Appearance: Bright ruby red with purple hues.
  • Nose: Aromatic bouquet of red berries, such as raspberries and cherries, accompanied by floral hints of violets and a subtle touch of Mediterranean herbs.
  • Palate: Medium-bodied with vibrant fruit flavors, including ripe strawberries and plums, layered with notes of spices like black pepper and a hint of licorice. Soft tannins and refreshing acidity lead to a smooth and lingering finish.

  • We offer store credit within 7 days of purchase, with the original receipt or proof of payment for unopened, undamaged products in the original packaging. Please note that we won’t be able to proceed without the original product being returned.
  • Faulty wines that have been opened must be returned within 2 days of opening, at which time we will offer you a replacement bottle of the same wine.
  • We do not offer refunds.
