Property of the Bernard family since 1983, the magnificent Domaine de Chevalier is at the top of the greatest Crus Classés of Bordeaux. The estate takes place in the heart of the Pessac-Léognan appellation which is located in a green setting south of Bordeaux.

The Domaine de Chevalier watches over a rare vineyard comprising 7 hectares of white vines. The vineyard rests on gravelly soil with clayey-gravelly subsoils. Since 1986, the young vines have been destined to ripen the berries which take part in the blending of the estate's second wine, L'Esprit de Chevalier.

Tasting Notes

L'Esprit de Chevalier 2020 presents a pale gold color with lively reflections. The aromatic bouquet expresses a floral freshness combined with a refined intensity. Peach and exotic white fruits harmonize wonderfully with citrus fruits and herbs.

L'Esprit de Chevalier 2020 embodies an intense wine with its fruity, juicy, and refreshing character. The acidity meets a fleshy structure, soft and lively at the same time. The complexity of the aromas highlights flavors of pulpy white fruit and delicate and concentrated aromatic herbs. Harmony and a sublime restrained power give this cuvée its particular style.

Pair with light salads, seafood, goat cheese, sushi, & lemon risotto.

    • Faulty wines that have been opened must be returned within 2 days of opening, at which time we will offer you a replacement bottle of the same wine.
