From the renowned Glenfarclas Family Cask range comes a 1997 vintage single malt Scotch whisky, matured in a single Sherry butt. It was matured in said cask from 1997 to July 2014, when it was bottled with an outturn of 628 bottles.

This 1997 vintage is described as having a long, complex finish with notes of cracked pepper, Szechuan pepper, and liquorice. The flavour profile includes rich, heavy vanilla, cacao, and brown sugar, complemented by orange zest and a touch of lime. It is noted for its refined, "singing" character, described by some as having an elegant, aged Barolo-like wine note.
