The Glenfarclas Family Cask No. 3287 (Year: 2000) is a high-strength single malt, matured for approximately 24 years in a sherry butt and bottled for the Summer 2024 release at 51.8% ABV. It is known for its intense sherry influence, balancing deep, mature wood notes with rich dried fruits.

  • Color: Deep gold with amber reflections.
  • Nose: Pronounced sherry notes, with aromas of dried fruits, nuts, and fine spices. It is characterized by a "wafting, leafy, chocolatey" profile, often showing hints of orange, caramel, malted milk biscuits, and old, polished oak.
  • Palate: Dense and balanced, featuring a rich, oily mouthfeel with strong notes of raisins, marmalade, dark chocolate, and cinnamon. It provides a complex interaction of sweet sherry with mature oak, featuring hints of leather and a slight woody, earthy dryness.
