This 21 year old Bowmore Single malt was distilled on the legendary isle of Islay back in September 1998 and filled into a single refill hogshead. Over two decades later, Douglas Laing deemed this whisky ready for the world, and bottled it up in August 2020 as part of the Old Particular series. 264 bottles were produced.

Tasting Notes

Salted caramel tart, toasted barley, antique furniture, and a smidgeon of strawberry conserve. On the palate, oatcake, sea salt, summer berries, tobacco box, a rumble of allspice and nutmeg. Hints of smoked meats and dried apples on the finish.
