Quinta Vale Dona Maria 2012 (Magnum)

This wine comes from a very complex vineyard with many different slopes and aspects. In addition some forty-one different varieties of vine have been identified. This results in a wine that is equally complex and expressive of the majesty of Douro Valley. 

Tasting Notes

The variety of grape varieties makes this wine deep and intense, with aromas of cherry, plum and wild blackberry, typical of the field blend in its origins.

Food Pairing

We love pairing this wine with game dishes, such as partridge and quail. A slow roasted veal, with oven baked potatoes and vegetables is also a favorite.
