    True to the saying that “the whole should be greater than the sum of its parts”, Querciabella Chianti Classico Riserva is an exquisite blend of the finest Sangiovese grapes sourced from the estate’s high-altitude vineyards.

    Our unique micro-vinification process ensures that our Querciabella Riserva perfectly balances complexity, drinkability, and finesse. It is this commitment to creating an exceptional and multifaceted expression of Sangiovese that sets us apart. By individually fermenting and barreling each batch, we nurture the distinct qualities of each vineyard, ensuring these characteristics are beautifully preserved and expressed in the final blend.

    2011 was the first vintage we released as a designated “Riserva” since 1999. The reputation and acclaim of Querciabella Riserva have grown with each vintage, receiving outstanding praise. 

    Tasting Notes

    The bright magenta 2021 Querciabella Riserva has a great nose that opens to expressive notes of fresh forest herbs, anise, wet stones, red cherry liqueur, framboise, and juniper, with a high-toned lift to the aromas that are fantastic. Medium-bodied, it has a more linear feel compared to the Chianti Classico, with fine, ripe tannins and great, balanced energy. 

    Food Pairing

    Querciabella is a perfect food wine, pairing naturally with all sorts of Mediterranean and Levantine cuisine. It is best enjoyed alongside flavors of tomato and olive oil and doesn’t fear coming close to herbs and spices.

    In the event you would like to return a product -

    • We offer store credit within 7 days of purchase, with the original receipt or proof of payment for unopened, undamaged products in the original packaging. Please note that we won’t be able to proceed without the original product being returned.
    • Faulty wines that have been opened must be returned within 2 days of opening, at which time we will offer you a replacement bottle of the same wine.
    • We do not offer refunds.
