Trediberri Langhe Nebbiolo 2021

Trediberri means the three from Berri. This small winery is run by father-and-son team Federico and Nicola Oberto, together with their good friend Vladimiro. One of the rising stars of Piedmont, their winemaking journey only started in 2007, when they purchased five hectares of vines in the hamlet of Berri, under the terracotta towers of La Morra. They follow a low-impact, organic approach to viticulture and a traditional approach in the winery; with extended macerations and ageing in large oak. The wines of Trediberri are expressive, generous and a genuine representation of their spectacular terroir.

Langhe Nebbiolo is not only one of the greatest values in Piedmont, but often serves as a barometer for the seriousness and talents of a producer. Trediberri’s is unquestionably one of the best available.

Tasting Notes

Ruby ​​red in color. Dominant notes of fresh red fruit, notes of musk and undergrowth. Fresh and fruity, extremely drinkable given also the low tannins, it still manages to turn out to be a wine that is anything but banal while maintaining a good complexity and structure.

Food Pairing 

This unoaked, fruity and drinkable nebbiolo is meant to be an easy (yet not trivial) wine to share with friends during a nice and funny chat. Drink it slightly cold, maybe while sharing a platter of mixed charcuterie or with some lovely tajarin al ragù.
