Description

The Tibaldis are a family with generations in the Rocche del Roero. A passion for grape growing passed from father to son, and on to his son. But with no sons in the next generation, sisters Daniela and Monica have taken the reigns from their father Stefano, forging a new path. Farming close to 7 hectares of vineyards around the hilltop village of Pocapaglia where they live, and growing local Piemonte grape varieties Nebbiolo and Barbera as well as Arneis and Vermentino. They farm organically and do everything themselves, with some help in the vineyards from their father Stefano.

The sisters were born and raised breathing the love for viticulture, and their passion for growing and making wine is in their blood. This wine is 100% Nebbiolo fruit from 30-year-old vines planted on the old marne soils of Bricco delle Passere, on the southern aspect. Vinified in steel only, with 13/14 days maceration.

Tasting Notes

The nose is open, charming, seductive - almost like a Pinot Noir. Ruby red wine with garnet highlights to heat the hearts of your guests. The nose is full of intense raspberry and strawberry fruit. The palate follows with succulent, fleshy, and relaxed. So pretty, and so easy to love.

Food Pairing

Excellent with dishes of red meat and hearty foods. It goes well with cheese and all kinds of meats.
