Description

Solicchiata is a red IGT, Terre Siciliane composed of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown in the Feudo di Solicchiata on the south-western slopes of the Etna volcano. The vinification takes place in barriques for approximately 24 months and before being put on the market, a few months of refinement in the bottle is envisaged.

At sight it has an intense ruby ​​red color with garnet reflections, on the nose it expresses intense hints of plum jam, coffee, cocoa and a strong balsamic note. On the palate it is full and powerful, with ripe and rich tannins that make it velvety and harmonious. 

Venison (e.g. wild boar goulash); grilled or roasted beef; pasta dishes; Seasoned cheese (e.g. feta cheese) or Grana Padano.
