Distant lands come together and complete one another. After his decade of experience in Sicily as Planeta’s oenologist, Florent Dumeau decided to blend two quite different but so very complementary varieties; This wine is all about its bouquet, a combination of fragrances and unusual scents. Wood is used masterfully to enhance the perfumes and prepare this white for happy aging.

Yellow color slightly tinged with sea green; scents of flint, fresh grass, Sicilian medlars, freshly harvested wheat; on the palate well balanced between the freshness of the Sauvignon and the greater structure of the Grillo. Well balanced and has excellent flavor.

Sicilian white wines often pair wonderfully with a variety of seafood dishes. Consider pairing Serra Ferdinande Bianco with grilled fish, seafood pasta, shrimp scampi, or seafood risotto. Also complements light pasta dishes with creamy sauces, such as pasta primavera or pasta with a lemon cream sauce.
