Greensand Ridge have created another smashing gin for That Boutique-y Gin Company - this time taking inspiration from the salt marshes of Whitstable. A flavoursome, subtly savoury gin, featuring botanicals that you would find in those aforementioned salt marshes.

Tasting Notes

Nose: The nose is light, but there’s plenty of salt – and a little marsh. The juniper is floral, teeming with lavender and bay leaves. A mossy earthiness persists underneath, along with warming cardamom, vibrant grapefruit peel and liquorice root.

Palate: The palate is huge, mouth-filling, oily and complex. Spicy juniper and black pepper prickle through salted grapefruit and a little sweet orange blossom. Creamy angelica carries with it herbaceous notes of aromatic coriander and pine.

Finish: Incredibly long and lingering, with firm woody spices concluding this reassuringly heavy expression.

Overall: Totally singular and brilliantly concocted – you’ve never had a gin like this before.
