Back in the day, pink gin used to be a tipple concocted using gin and Angostura Bitters. At some point, variations on pink gin started to pop up, many of them based around the addition of berries, imparting heavy sweetness as well as the eponymous pink hue. That Boutique-y Gin Company is kicking it old school with Proper Pink Gin, blending terrific gin and Angostura Bitters to create the classic tipple. The label features a leading expert (he even has a badge that says it, so it has to be true), aptly blowing a raspberry. 

Tasting Notes

Nose: Through the sweetness of fresh orange there’s gingerbread, sugared almonds, and marzipan. Coriander seeds and oily juniper emerge with time.

Palate: Grassy mint kicks things off, supported by caster sugar and a spicy blend of juniper and cardamom.

Finish: A touch of black pepper fizzles through the lingering liquorice notes.

    • We offer store credit within 7 days of purchase, with the original receipt or proof of payment for unopened, undamaged products in the original packaging. Please note that we won’t be able to proceed without the original product being returned.
    • Faulty wines that have been opened must be returned within 2 days of opening, at which time we will offer you a replacement bottle of the same wine.
    • We do not offer refunds.
