Planeta Terebinto Grillo 2021

The Planeta family has been working in Sicilian agriculture for five centuries. Their work on the island has contributed to the revitalization of Sicilian winemaking because of their deep roots to the Island and its bounty.

One of the plants most associated with Sicily the Mediterranean countryside from east to west it terebinth, a shrub with glossy fronds, and the namesake of this wine. The Planeta Terebinto is a single-variety Grillo; aromatic and intense on the nose with notes of pink grapefruit, balanced and complex on the palate.

Tasting Notes

Notably aromatic Sicilian variety, with aromas of white melon, apricots, pineapple, and beeswax. Straw yellow; fresh and vibrant.

Food Pairing

Raw seafood, pasta with sea urchins, fried vegetables and fish. This wins is also great with white cheeses and crudités.
