    Manuel’s a young wine producer who makes his farms and makes his wine as a two man operation from beginning to end. Vintage 2004 was his first release. Manuel makes three wines: Dolcetto d’Alba, Barbera d’Alba and Barbaresco. Refreshingly Manuel immediately adopted the traditional approach to winemaking.

    The fruit for Manuel's Barbera d'Alba comes from that heavenly full south shoulder of 17 year vines that look at the Elvio valley towards Mango. Manuel uses only cement & stainless-steel, in order to preserve the wild character of his fruit. 

    Tasting Notes

    Purple color with ruby ​​reflections, this 2019 vintage, has a nose that is fine, pure, silky, perfectly poised, with prune and mulberry richness. The palate is dry, soft and full with a delicate background of ripe fruit.

    Food Pairing

    The ultimate food wine, Barbera is easy to pair with almost anything, but try it veal and poultry dishes.

    In the event you would like to return a product -

    • We offer store credit within 7 days of purchase, with the original receipt or proof of payment for unopened, undamaged products in the original packaging. Please note that we won’t be able to proceed without the original product being returned.
    • Faulty wines that have been opened must be returned within 2 days of opening, at which time we will offer you a replacement bottle of the same wine.
    • We do not offer refunds.
