MAN Family Padstal Chardonnay

As budding young winemakers back in 2001, the founders of MAN wines struggled to find decent wines they could afford.  They saw a niche in the market and got to work creating MAN, using each initial from their wives names Marie, Anette and Nicky. As they eventually found their footing, the MAN project became a collaboration with the grape growers, creating wonderful and affordable wines.

Tasting Notes

This delicate Chardonnay strikes the perfect balance between fruit flavours and a light touch of oak. Pale straw in appearance, this wine has marmalade, pineapple and butterscotch aromas on the nose, with hints of citrus, lime and peach flavours on the palate.

Food Pairing

Good acidity for food. Pair it with grilled lemon Dijon chicken breasts.
