Glencadam 15 has gone from strength to strength since a packaging facelift in 2009, at which time the strength was upped to 46% by owners Angus Dundee, who took over the distillery from Allied in 2003. An undersung distillery that is now starting to stretch its wings with some very good value for money whiskies.

Additionally, this well-balanced single malt is neither coloured nor chill-filtered.

Tasting Notes

Tangy and fresh with aromas of apples bound by a soft vanilla sweetness and baking spices. On the palate is it bright with layers of clove, lemon curd and brioche with citrus zest highlights. The finish is clean and crisp with notes of yellow fruits, vanilla pod and nutmeg spices.
