Description

Founded in 2011, Pennsylvania's Dad's Hat distillery focuses on creating old-school Pennsylvania-style rye. Following a mash bill of 80% rye and 20% malt (15% barley and 5% rye malt), grains are sourced from local farms and fermented slowly and low for an aromatic, complex character. This six-year-old rye whiskey joins the USA Series from That Boutique-y Whisky Company, bottled at a hearty cask strength of 64% ABV.

That Boutique-y Whisky Company bottles limited edition whiskies from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.

Tasting Notes

Nose Heaps of dried berries and stone fruits balance dense notes of spicy rye and sourdough crackers. Milk chocolate and charred herbs join waves of warming allspice.

Palate Soft and buttery to start, with dried cranberries and cherry chocolate leading to satisfying layers of oak char, clove, and cinnamon snaps.

Finish Dustings of cocoa, juicy raisins, and toasty spice.

In the event you would like to return a product -

  • We offer store credit within 7 days of purchase, with the original receipt or proof of payment for unopened, undamaged products in the original packaging. Please note that we won’t be able to proceed without the original product being returned.
  • Faulty wines that have been opened must be returned within 2 days of opening, at which time we will offer you a replacement bottle of the same wine.
  • We do not offer refunds.
