Description

Constantly seeking both excellence and innovation, Château Lynch-Bages carried out a new plot division in 2006, breaking down 90 original plots used for the production of wine into 180 to 200 sub-plots. Designed by the architect Chien Chung (Didi) Pei, internationally renowned for his sleek architectural style, the new vat room and aging cellar are state-of-the-art facilities designed to enhance the terroir of this iconic Pauillac estate through a skillful vinification process.

Tasting Notes

Unforgettable, a must, this wine is clearly one of the finest successes of the Château Lynch-Bages, perhaps its greatest wine. But we will let you be the judge of that. Its aging potential is staggering.

With a purple garnet color, this Lynch Bages reveals pronounced notes of blackcurrant, chocolate-covered cherries, blackberries, and menthol, supported by notes of heath and tapenade. Medium-bodied, rich, and wonderfully concentrated, the generous fruit is beautifully framed by ripe and velvety tannins, with hints of pepper, cinnamon, and clove on the finish. A captivating Lynch Bages!
