Explore the geologic richness of the Vinho Verde terroir. In a wine region where granite covers 90% of the surface, this range explores the rare varieties of schist that exist and how the different terroirs translate into very distinctive wines. This wine is a 100% Alvarinho, that is exclusively planted on granite soil, with its counterpart Aveleda Solos de Xisto planted on schist soil.

Tasting Notes

Bright pale yellow hue, Aveleda Solos de Granito has an exuberant aromatic profile where citrus fruits, green apples and mineral notes are abundant. The mouth has a strong mineral attack, followed by a crisp acidity and aromas of ripe grapefruit and green peaches. 

Food Pairing

Salmon with rich sauces, seafood Thai curries and aged cheeses.

  • We offer store credit within 7 days of purchase, with the original receipt or proof of payment for unopened, undamaged products in the original packaging. Please note that we won’t be able to proceed without the original product being returned.
  • Faulty wines that have been opened must be returned within 2 days of opening, at which time we will offer you a replacement bottle of the same wine.
