Aveleda Parcela do Roseiral Alvarinho 2019

Terroir takes the lead on this wine, an Alvarinho that originates in a very peculiar parcel where, year after year, produces the most balanced and elegant Alvarinho in the estate. The vineyard is west facing and rich in water. The harvest is manual with cluster selection. The grapes are cooled until arriving at the vinification center where they undergo soft pressing at low pressures. Alcoholic fermentation and 9 month aging happen 70% in stainless steel vats and 30% in French-oak barrels. 

Tasting Notes

Of a beautiful light golden hue, Aveleda Parcela do Roseiral delights with delicate aromas of honeysucke, lemon zest and peach cobbler that come together on the palate in a dry, but creamy texture. The gourmand feast of aromas is balanced by a crisp minerality so typical of this particular parcel. With an incredibly long finish and velvety structure this wine is an excellent candidate for your wine cellar.
