Pago De Carraovejas 2021 (Magnum)

The Pago de Carraovejas is a genuine icon among Ribera del Duero wines, it's the only way to explain why it runs out every year, a few months after being released onto the market. Its faithful fans eagerly await the new vintage, delighted by its now classic lactic volume and its immense fruit expression.

A distinguished wine that appears a lovely purple colour with attractive tears. Aromas of red fruits, spices, liquorice, blue flowers and woodland hints define its nose, whilst on the palate there's an assertive lactic element, with creamy toast and very fine, silky-textured tannins. A flavoursome wine, juicy and very well-balanced, with well-judged acidity and a persistent finish in which the hints of ripe fruit and the oak's toasty notes blend together nicely.
