Description

The 2020 Le Marquis de Calon Ségur, the second wine of Château Calon Ségur in Saint-Estèphe, Bordeaux, is a refined and approachable expression of the estate's terroir. It offers a harmonious blend of ripe blackberries, cassis, and plums, complemented by notes of cedar, graphite, and subtle spices. The palate is medium to full-bodied with silky tannins and a fresh, balanced finish. Aged for 17 months in French oak barrels (30% new), this wine is best enjoyed between 2024 and 2039.

For food pairings, its structure and depth make it an excellent match for grilled red meats, roasted lamb, or aged cheeses. Serving at around 17–18°C will enhance its aromatic profile and balance.
