Planting Salmwood, Barbajalote, \u0026amp; Rosewood trees to form a canopy in areas cleared by the former owner. Under this canopy of native hardwoods, cacao is planted as the midstory crop, with vanilla, turmeric, cardamom, \u0026amp; lemongrass as the understory crops.
