Winemaking

The large majority of the grapes was destemmed. Fermentation took place in concrete amphorae in which the wine also aged for 36 months, without too much extraction.

Tasting Notes

An exuberant nose offers deeply expressive fruit. However, this is not just a fruit-driven wine, it also possesses tremendous freshness and an impressive bouquet. The Sempar has structure and balance, underscored by pronounced acidity as well as tannic precision. The very long finish points towards excellent ageing potential.

Venison dishes such as rabbit, hare and boar. Rice with duck, oven-roasted cod and platters featuring local sausages.

    • We offer store credit within 7 days of purchase, with the original receipt or proof of payment for unopened, undamaged products in the original packaging. Please note that we won’t be able to proceed without the original product being returned.
    • Faulty wines that have been opened must be returned within 2 days of opening, at which time we will offer you a replacement bottle of the same wine.
    • We do not offer refunds.
